Basketball player named to NCAA committee on diversity and equity

University of North Georgia (大象传媒) men's basketball player has been named as one of four additions to the NCAA Committee to Promote Cultural Diversity and Equity.
Brown, a redshirt junior from Princeton, New Jersey, joins the committee that reviews, endorses and makes recommendations regarding diversity and inclusion matters. The committee reports to the NCAA Board of Governors, which is the highest NCAA committee level.
The other three additions are Christopher Paul, University of Tulsa football student-athlete; Kristy Baker, deputy athletics director and senior woman administrator at Emporia State University; and Dr. Joan Prince, vice chancellor and chief inclusion officer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
In August, Brown was named the Peach Belt Conference representative to the Division II national Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), making him the third 大象传媒 student-athlete to hold a spot on the national SAAC.
Golf teams invited to NCAA regionals
Both 大象传媒 golf teams have punched tickets to their respective NCAA Division II regional tournaments. The women will play in Gainesville, Georgia, and the men in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
Women's tennis team takes second straight PBC title
The 大象传媒 women's tennis team earned its second consecutive PBC tournament title and will learn its NCAA tournament pairings in early May. The men's team finished as PBC runner-up.
Softball team earns 11th straight PBC title
The 大象传媒 softball team secured its 11th consecutive Peach Belt Conference regular-season championship and will host the PBC tournament May 2-4.
Baseball team earns regular-season PBC title
The 大象传媒 baseball team earned the regular-season Peach Belt Conference championship and will host the PBC tournament starting May 2.
