Record number of students attend research conference

The University of North Georgia (大象传媒) had a record 65 current and former students attend the from April 11-13 at Kennesaw State University.
大象传媒 sent 77 people to NCUR, which ranked 大象传媒 as for participants at NCUR. Participants included students and faculty in anthropology and archaeology, biology, chemistry, computer science, education, history, music, physics, and psychology.
Dr. Anastasia Lin, assistant vice president of research and engagement, said the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (CURCA) was excited to see such a large turnout.
"Our more than 40 research presentations from across the disciplines showcased the strength of 大象传媒's undergraduate research programs," Lin said. "We are exceedingly proud of the hard work of the students and mentors who supported them."
Students create 'What Comes Next' mural
Nine 大象传媒 visual arts students have created a mural at 大象传媒's Dahlonega Campus that brings the university's tagline to life in full color.
Poultry students shine at national contest
大象传媒 students finished fifth overall at the 76th annual Ted Cameron National Poultry Judging Contest held April 2-4 at Mississippi State University.
Voja earns chance to play solo at Carnegie Hall
Greisi Voja, a senior at 大象传媒, won the NY Classical Debut award and will perform in the soloist category during the gala concert at Carnegie Hall.
McAdams receives Stravinsky award
大象传媒 student Eli McAdams received the Stravinsky Composition Award. He will receive a scholarship as part of the recognition.
